Anyone know how to clean up the clear face plastic that is over the gauges in the cluster? I didn't know how bad mine looked until I took it out and can see that it has kind of a frosty look to it, lots of tiny scratches where it has been wiped off over 39 years.
Got any ideas or is there a NOS one some where or a repop?

A head light polish kit should work on that. I haven't tryed it but i can't see why it wouldn't work

The Wax Shop has a product called Safe Cut, it is the best thing I have found for any discolored clear plastics..... It was originally designed for reconditioning Lexan windows but they found it was also great on clear coat paint..... The best part is it is really easy to use.....

you will not have any luck polishing it ... UV kills the plastic after 35 years ... the cloudiness will be all the way through the plastic ...

Years ago before they came out with all the plastic polishes they have now I used tooth paste and a damp cloth. Took awhile but it worked. But yeah, sometimes you can find the whole cluster with lens on ePay for $15-$20.
