I've got an oil pressure gauge and a Temp gauge ready to go in the Mav and I see a few possibilities of how to install. I've noticed 2 different "ports" on the drivers side of the engine block that must be for warning light senders and I'm guessing one is for oil and one is for temp. But which is which? There is one directly on the side in the rear and one slightly angled on the rear. It's too rainy and dark out to get a pic right now but does anyone know off the top of their head what each one is for? It'd help a lot. Also, where's the best place to tap into for a Boost gauge? Is there a screw-in port for that anywhere?

The sender that is in the middle is your oil, and the one in the back of the block is your water temp.
Take a look at your fuse box aswell, there should be a pink wire that is an extra accessory wire with 3 ports, If one is used it may be for your defogger.
I am installing gauges now myself, and am tryng to figure it out too.

Nice. I had guessed that the side one must be oil just due to its placement. I found a seemingly superfluous bolt on the absolute back of the head that was a booger shall we say to get out and serves an unknown purpose. Whenever this nut is cracked I think a tech article should be made. Thanks for the tip on the wires, too. Currently I have the switched and constant wires to my stereo hooked up to a single keyed wire and have been meaning to fix it.
