I have been running a gear vendors over drive in my mav for a couple years now and mostly I just use it for the overdrive on the hyway but it also helps out at the strip when splitting the gears or at least it did now it engages to slow and is useless for racing. I tryed bypassing the computer and running the switch straight to the soleniod but it didn`n help. I`m thinking about replacing the solenoid but I didn`t know if there might be an ajustment or something. I`m gonna call gear vendors next week some time but I didn`t know if any of you might have some experience on the subject. On a side note my cars best time was 13.03 with 3.25 gears and 255/60 tires . I want to go back with a set of 4.11s and slicks .
