    Did you know if you spray your tailight lenses with clearcoat it gives them a luster? Been doing this for years . Try it!

    I do this at work a lot it really is night and day. Most of the time we "smoke" them when we do this we spray a little transparent black on before adding the clear. It hides scratchs and pitting looks good. Make sure you give them a little scuff too with like 800 grit or a gray scotchbrite pad. so the clear sticks and doesnt peel off.

    Resto shops will paint the inside reflector white also to brighten up a light when the shiny reflective surface is gone.
    It would be better to chrome plate, but the white paint works almost as well without the expense.
    Just adding a tip.
