I have just bought a replacement glovebox insert. My original one came out easily as it litteraly fell apart. I have been looking at and trying to fit test the new one, but I can not figure out how to get the new one in....unless I take the heater core shield off and the passenger side vent control. Is there a trick to getting it in there, or is it necessary to remove these items?
    Thanks!

I believe only the non-A/C inserts are reproduced-they are bigger
than the ones that came on A/C cars.

Is yours an original A/C car?

If so, it may not fit without modifications.

Remove the lower dash cover. A hand full of screws and it comes right off. The glove box slips on from the back side.
