This weekend I plan on goin to Farmington this weekend for the swap meet and test n tune. My goal is to break into the 8's. I know the car's got it in it I just gotta play with the carb some to get it there. I can't wait since this is the first time to the track for me htis season. I'll update with results and probably some vids after I go.

Also, is there anyone on here who goes to this track at all? If so, I would love to go sometime and meet some fellow Mav enthusiasts and race a little bit. The track is near Winston-Salem, NC. I've also been to Piedmont Dragway and both Rockingham and the new Zmax Dragstrips are fairly close to me, I just haven't made it to either of these yet.

I go to Farmington alot in the fall. It's a great track! One of the best hooking tracks I've raced on and i've raced quite a few up and down the east coast. My car's 60' is always in the high 1.30's there. My home track is Bristol,TN but we travel about 2 hours to the Farm. My car is still torn apart just finished sand blasting last weekend, but I'll bring the falcon some this summer. There's several Mav's and comets that race either at Farmington or North Wilkesboro so you won't be alone. You can also go to Mooresville, Carolina Dragway, or the freshly repaved North Wilkesboro. Or if you're feelin' froggy make the extra drive on down to Shadyside! See ya at the track sometime. Brad

Well I didn't go because it was raining off and on all weekend. I hope to go this weekend but I don't know for sure yet i I will be able to make it or not.

I have heard of Mooresville, and the previous owner of my car used to race it there all the time. But I haven't heard of the other tracks, thanks for telling me about them. I'll definately try to make it out to one of those sometime. Thanks.
