Mo (mashori) and I are going to Auto club raceway in fontanta, ca. to do some fun runs in their street program. ive been working on my car through the week to get it ready. i finally finished my nitrous system and tested it today. It hits hard. i have to regear my car tomarrow. going from 4.57s to 3.89s. i also had an alum. rear firewall put in. see pics below. I made my own traction bars that are clones of brand c tracks bars. looking forward to running on the 1/4 mile again. last time i ran in the 1/4 in 2004 at carlesbad dragstip. Mo has his nos system all set to go and is going to hit it for the first time at the track. it should be lots of fun. any other member taking there mavs out this sunday? we will have out cameras and post pics of the racing. so stay tuned for more maverick action and fun.
Gonna be hard to do since today is 2/27/10 here in Az. I know California is in different time zone, but that is carrying it a little too far.
Ah man a typo on the date it was today (2/28). Just got back. Had a blast. I ran a 12.3@116 and a 12.1@116. Got pics and maybe a video coming later.
oh my god I had such a good time. Bryant came up with his buddy Keith who is just the nicest guy. He has an auto transport business so anoyone in souther california looking to get their baby transported he is the man to talk to. I ran the 1/4 mile NA 15.76 at 88.36 mph then when I hit the bottle (125 shot) I went to 13.95 at 103.84 and it was soooooo amazing. Nitrous is awesome, that's all I can say. I've had it hooked up for so long but haven't been able to use it until this race so it's great.
nope those are pics from another forum, Im going to the april one thought I think my dads neighbor Eric went , he has a triple black 2004 mach 1. Black convertible, black top, black interior, black stripes, black shaker hood scoop. Did you see that car? it has blacked out cobra R's with slicks in the back. And the stock magnum 500s in the front.
there were lots of newer mustangs there. alot of them had the black out treatment. i may have seen it but it doenst stand out in my mind. they put us in groups of 50 and there were 5 groups so there was around 250 cars there.
man i would have though it would be more cars. Last time i went it was way more. there's also a way to get in for free as a spectator(for those who dont wanna race)...basically you just go around. Lol

ummmm . . . damn that black car blew away that white car! I think the nitrous button didn't work on the white car . . . just my guess
