I just got home from tearing down a friend's cookout setup at the county fair (5 large tents, two covered car trailers (one with a bathroom and kitchen), and two large pits). Been working in the rain and mud, and just sat down for my first beer back in my warm house...I don't think I have the energy to get back up.

I will definitely come when my car is running, hopefully by next weekend. Give me a day or two warning so I don't schedule anything else that day.

And let us know how it went...

    See other thread.

Lonestar is a 1/4 mile track (as opposed to 1/8th) if that's what you mean.

    I couldn't find any 3/8ths or 1/2 mile tracks. ;)

That was my next guess. HRP is simply too far for me. In fact, Lonestar is pushing it for me (110 mile round trip) and it's closer than HRP.

I'll go to HRP every now and then but I don't see me doing it any time soon (heck I don't see my car even cranking anytime soon! )

You live within 110 miles of HRP...I calculate you at 46 miles +/-, that is around 90 round trip...

It is closer for me, so I could make it easier...plus, I could spend the night at ShadowMaster's house that night :yikes:

Maybe it just SEEMS longer! Ha!

We'll definetly do HRP sometime - just not until I figure out wth was up with
my car going all over the lane after the 1/8th.

alignment? toe out can make a car dart side to side at the fast end. also, does the steering box need adjustment to take out excessive play?

    I recently had it aligned.

My next suspect was the steering box - something I didn't want to be the reason ($ wise).
