First of all, not sure if general is the right place to put this thread, but my judgement says it is. To the point, I found this on kijiji http://www.kijiji.ca/v-view-details.html?adId=1025557288 and am wondering what you all think. The pictures of it are all kind of bad views but I can sorta see why considering it's surrounded by bush. It appeals to me mainly as a small bumper donor car, but may also have other handy parts or may even be a car to restore in itself. I messaged the owner asking about some things so more info is possibly on the way. I'll also try to get more pictures out of them. I've never bought a parts car before though so I figured it's a good idea to get some professional opinions from you guys and gals before comitting to anything.

Don't think you could go too far wrong for $500.

It is a 1973. I can tell by the chrome trim on the rear end as well as the placement of the Maverick emblems.

Parts car only....will not be worth fixing up.....sitting too long.

That's a shame. Main reason I wanted it was for the small bumpers. I'd rather keep the big ones than put 73' bumpers on mine. Thanks for the info though, saved me wasting a trip to see it. Another quick question unrelated to the topic, but I just want to make sure, the small rear bumper from the Comet is the same as the Maverick's right? It's only the front bumper that's different on the two?

This was posted before on kijiji. He sent me pics. The front end is bashed fairly bad. Do not buy it if you're needing any front sheet metal, or bumper and grill.

not worth it if the front end is smashed thats 75% of the value for a parts car

Yeah, and front end stuff is what I mainly need anyway. I'm glad I decided to post this and ask before wasting the time and gas just to find out it's smashed and doesn't have the bumpers i want anyway.

1971-1972 Comet has a different front bumper than the 1970-1972 Maverick. 1973 Maverick and Comet bumpers are exactly the same. 1974-1977 the front bumpers are the same.

1970-1973 rear bumpers are all the same (different mounts in 1973). 1974-1977 rear bumpers are the same.
