    guys,
i no longer own a maverick. ive appreciated having yall around for reference. i didnt abandon my maverick, its now in the loving hands of the artist formerly known as "wild lil maverick".
jim lives near me, and we established a freindship longer before his last maverick got totalled/sold.
    me/he/his wife did some horse-trading, and i ended up with a 92 F150.

i personally would rather have the maverick, but due to poor health, lack of sufficient funds, a place to work on the vehicle when necessary, and a bad need for a truck (which is solid), i decided to let it go.

its in very good hands now. jim has a lot of energy, and he will have it strokin in no time. it'd been sorta neglected lately.

im sure that jim will post pictures as soon as he gets any. if yall really want to see what his maverick looks like, go to my profile (roadrage) and see it.

he's got a cream puff, but its still 30+ years old, and unrestored.. so it needs some attention. expect great things of this combo.

anyway... enough from me for now. i dont know if i should remove my profile or not.
ive got a 72 cougar waiting in the wings (owned it for 15 years), and i guess thats where my hotrod focus will be.

nice know yall, keep on rockin!

Stick around anyway and come to the Roundup. Even without a car, its a blast.

I do believe that this site has many people who dont own a Mav/Com. All that is really required is an interest in these cars. Best of luck to you.

Sounds like you're still a Maverick at heart. That's what counts!

Somehow we all come full circle with the  Mav. Once you have one they never really leave you. I went more than a decade without one but they keep coming back into my life (9 times).:yup:

thanks guys. it was my 2nd maverick, and id dump my cougar in a heartbeat for another maverick. i guess im just gonna have roll with what i own.
its highly possible that i'll own another maverick.
i may just end up editing my profile, and putting up a pic with my "non-maverick" car. of course moderator might not appreciate it either.
but ill still always be a maverick @ heart.

Good to hear that! they say 3rd time is a charm or something like that. So your 3rd mav will be the one you won't get rid of :)
