If anyone from this board will be at the Goodguys events at Bakersfield, Pleasenton or Del Mar please let me know. Maybe we can hook up and do some bench racing. I will be at all three events. The dates are as follows: March Meet Nostalgia Drags, Bakersfield, CA. March 11-12-13 All American Get-Together Car show, Pleasenton, CA. March 19-20 Rod & Custom Nationals car show, Del Mar,CA. I went to the Temecula Rod Show today. It was pretty cool, but I didn't see any Mavericks. I'll probably go to the Del Mar show because it's so close to me. I'll let you know if I go. Will you have a car there? Erick
Hope to see ya at Del Mar. Not sure if I will drive my Maverick. It depends how my hotrod does on the way to Bakersfield. May drive the Maverick anyway. I haven't driven it that far since I bought it. Haven't driven it since December. Hope it starts! Look for me at the clock tower. May even have the Mav there if I can get in early enough in the morning.
Hey Bob! I'll be coming back home for Spring Break, and my Dad and I are going to make it down to the All American Get Together in Pleasanton. Luckily finals week ends right before that weekend, so I'll be able to make it! I won't be bringing the Mav unfortunatly, but we will take my Dad's Cobra. I will be there all weekend. I work for Goodguys. I'll be in the double deck bus playing the music for the Get together show and at the clock tower for Del mar and I announce the races in Bakersfield.
