was supposed to race last weekend in tucson. got rained out. figured i'd get my fix this weekend at firebird in phoenix. not so they just, cancelled it because of the weather here again. said they were falling behind in preparing for the nationals next weekend. may have to go race with old guy as he'll probably be racing before i do, the way it's going here. p.s. can't remember ever being rained out here two weekends in a row. most times not even twice in a season.
Same deal here, rain and more rain. Looks as if this weekend is a wash too. Am not too mad though, came down with some virus bug and have not been able to get out of the house. Did watch the two 150 races at Daytona, yeaterday, got so mad at Harvick taking out my man, Mark Martin, that I have had to get a new TV after chucking a bowl of soup at the old one. Back in my dirt track days, he would have got a good a** whoopin, and then some.
just got finished taking off the bumpers, tail lights, turn signals and other stuff. going to call the guy in a little bit to see when he wants the car.
