And boy is it full of stuff, most of the parts that have rust on the outside are removable, fenders, hood (MAJOR rust), what I want the car for and the best part is basically the shell, have not had time to check the cowls yet but will do soon, most of what I need looks pretty good, has the same dash as my grabbers had/have with the chrome trim, last registered in 2011 and so I am told runs....here's pics. don't ask what all the freakin buttons screwed to everything are cuz I have no clue!!

Bet the one to the right and below the steering wheel is a starter button. My Cougar had the same starter button. :shhh:

Rare Ruby red interior....1970 only. Hopefully you will be able to save some of those parts for somebody who needs them. It looks like somebody has sprayed the lower dash and steering column parts to match.

Are the fender (top mount) turn signals functional?

Those things on the fender are....well I don't know what they are, but they are not turn signals lol, they look like gunsights to me lol.
Red interior is not too bad from what I can see, gotta get all the "stuff" out of the car to do a good evaluation.

Aren't the things on the fenders deer whistles or similar.

Looks like it to me anyway.

Those look to be fender emblems (gun sights) off of a 1962 Comet.

Ok had to do it, raining here but I couldn't stand it any more, went out and hooked up a battery charger to the Maverick, let it charge a bit and started pushing some buttons :D Well it seems the one below the package tray is a starter button, the one to the left is a loud horn, and best of all the one to the right is a loud AAHHOOOOOGAAA horn!.... that one is going on my Grabber!
I'm happy now that I got to push some buttons.
