Got me some different window cranks

    The last time at the salvage yard I found some window cranks out of a 66 Galaxy. No more plastic knobs to brake.

    Just a heads up...
    Many early cranks are repopped, but some are very different than ours as far as mounting and fitting.
    Those look fine from the pic, but I have seen some from early Stangs that would not work in our cars, so other models may be different as well.
    If those do work, please post the year of the car so we might look up some repops.

    Yes they fit. I just had to get a screw that was about 1/4 inch longer.
    the part # on the back is C7AB-6223348B 8
    It also has 12-66 so maybe 1966

    looks like 12-66 as well.

    Funny ,those are the same as the ones i put on the Comet,i got mine off of a 1970 t bird.The short cranks are for the vent windows on the Galaxie i belive.Derek.
