I bought these wheels for my car this fall and finally got the tires for it. So here are some pics. They are Boyd Coddington Hot Rod wheels, 17x7 up front and 18x8 in back. I plan on lowering the car. Tell me what you think.
I think once it's been lowered it's gonna look awesome. Tail lights look great too. Keep up the good work.
I likes it.....agree, will be much better when its on the ground. Can you post a better picture of the rear valence.....where it is cut-out for the exhaust? Nice...very nice!
Thanks for the compliments guys! I really want to get it painted soon so it looks better, but it probably won't be for a couple years. I am at least going to try and get it all in primer, so it is one color. I think I am going to paint it red with white racing stripes, don't know if I want to keep it brown. And yes those are cal-tracs, I got those this summer. I also posted a better pic of the rear valance.
What kinda suspension do you have on the back to get the clearance for the 18's? Also, what kind of backspacing on the rear wheels? Looks great!!
tire sizes and backspacing front - 245 40 17, 4 inch backspacing rear - 255 45 18, 4.75 inch backspacing I got these tire sizes off of Maverick Man's website, I really like how his car looked. The back has so much backspacing because I have a 9 inch out of a lincoln versailles, and it is a little wider then the stock 8 inch. - Jason
The rear suspension is still stock, the only thing I have done to it is add the Cal-tracs. The wheels fit just fine. - Jason
