I took my '72 Grabber to my local 1/8 mile track last night. It was a hot humid night and I only ran a best of 9.02 @ 81 MPH, well off my best time of 8.84 @ 84 MPH.

I just bought a nice used set of ported and polished Edelbrock Performer heads and a new Edlebrock Performer RPM Air Gap intake that I'm going to put on the car in the upcoming weeks. I hadn't been to the track this year and just want ed to go out and relax and have some fun.

Very Nice! That color combo is awesome, if I ever oreder a new Maverick (back in the past) that would have been my choice.

    Thanks Dave!

My car shows up pretty good to have about 90% original paint. It has it's bumps and bruises but still gets looks and thumbs ups every time I take it out.

The color combo has definitely grown on me since I bought it last year. I like it better and better with time.

I remember that gum well from all the baseball cards I bought as a kid!! I should have kept those cards, I might have been able to sell them for enough money to buy another Maverick or Comet, LOL!!
