Got the Sprint weighed

    The local recycler did not have a scale but I found a truck stop right up the road that I used. I stopped & filled the tank up just before getting on the scale. It was 3240 with me in the car so its about 3010 by itself. The pleasant surprise was the weight distribution. 1660 on the front and 1580 on the rear. That makes it right about 51/49.

    Wow! My understanding is 50/50 would be perfect, I would say that is pretty close to perfect!

    ok dennis.... the way i see it is this. buy yourself some platform shoes and slide the seat back a spot or two. that should just about do it.

    Mine weighed 2600 with a 351C and C6. After the back half and 14 point cage were done it weighs 2950 with a 50/50 split front to rear.

    302 with alum heads & manifold. Battery in the trunk. Thats probably the main reason it so close to being balanced.
