Pretty much worked as planned except for the front kick panels. I had bought some 5 1/4 speakers and they did not fit because there is an extremely shallow area back there because of the door bolts. My intention was to install them behind the kick panel and make it look factory. I ended up having to install them on the outside of the kick panel instead. The rear Sony 6X9 Xplods I was able to hide behind some OEM Ford Grills. I also got my LDO trim on the utility shelf ... Had to do some trimming since I had a Non-A/C trim piece and had to shave it out for the A/C ducts ...

    The Stereo is a Pioneer DEH-P4600MP ... Plays CD's and MP3's ...

You can fit 6x9s in the lower front corners of the doors.

Wouldn't you have to cut into the door panel to do that?

Sounds great ... but then again all I could compare it to was the original factory AM and the cheesy AM/FM 8-track Mono radio I put in when I got the car ..

I burned a 133 song MP3 CD to keep in there as well .. I have over 1000 MP3's but here is what I chose to fill the CD ...

Great selection of music Dan. I remember when alot of those songs were new releases. Stereo install looks good. I like that clean factory look in the rear window tray and at the dash also.

Looks good! My 73 Comet has an updated stereo also. I was lucky, I had factory speaker grills in my kickpanels. I put an amp under each bucket seat & the CD changer & subwoofer in the trunk.....I like clean also.

Hey Dan would you mind posting a closer pic of the steering wheel rap? I wanted to see something about the bottom of it thanks.
