went to the 1/4 finals this weekend. dialed a 12.20 the round before and started to go sideways a couple of times. erased the .20 and changed to an .18, then decided to put the .20 back on, just in case i had traction problems again. ran a 12.181 on the brakes and broke out. opponent dialed a 13.77 and ran 13.778. car ran good. will try again at a three day race over laborday weekend.
i had a ball and i wouldn't have changed the dial in at all as i dialed down to be safe. a bad day at the track is better than the greatest day at work. i'll be back.
If I would've changed dial-in's several times when I considered it, I'd of gone a lot farther in the brackets. If I HADN'T changed dial-ins several times when I considered it, I'd of gone a lot farther in the brackets. Grats and good luck next time!
good JOB! The thing about bracket racing is.......you have got to have confidence in what you wrote on the windshield.....had you put the .18 on it, you might have had doubts and tried to cut a super good light...."thinking maybe it won't run a .18 so I better tree the guy to have room to play" ......then you bottom bulb it! Sounds like a great day at the track! Congrats!
