Well I just couldnt take it anymore after reading HOMERMAVS posts about going to the track, so I loaded the car on the trailer and drove a couple hundred miles to race at a track in Bremerton that I hadnt raced at in 10 years.

Was quite warm in the afternoon around 90ish car didnt get past 180 even after sitting in the lanes with it running for awhile, that was good to know cause I hadnt had the car in that hot of a temperature, car did better than driver, driver leaked from having fire coat and helmet on :)

Here are a couple runs time slips, the best of the day anyhow

    r/t .020----------------------- r/t .074
    60' 1.575 ---------------------60' 1.56
    330 4.635-------------------- 330 4.667
    1/8 7.227 --------------------1/8 7.276
    mph 94.26 -------------------mph 93.76
    1000 9.491 -------------------1000 9.552
    1/4 11.412 -------------------1/4 11.47
    mph 116.35 -------------------mph 116.74

I wont bore you with the .077 redlight or the first round losing .244 light

I couldnt dial what I thought the car would run so I dialed an 11.55 and planned on fender racing but that dont work when you get .244 and the other guy gets a .024

    Had a great time though

    sounds like fun!
I am planning on getting my heap to the track sometime this year. And reading all the post about racing is surely gonna motivate me to do that.

not sure. we only have 1/8th mile locally. I would say with the street tires it will run mid to low 8's. But we shall see.:)

4 Leafs, caltracs, 6 way adjustable rear shocks set on stiff, stock front with sway bar still hooked up running ,26 inch M/T slicks

Launching at 2,200 could go a little more and drop the 60' even more
