Grabber sport lamp switch question

    Q - My 71 Grabber is missing the knob off of the sport lamp switch, I have looked at a few other grabbers and so far the original ones I have seen have a chrome knob held on by a set screw. The one that was on my car was also chrome and looked like a quality metal knob. I have been told that it is a black plastic knob by a gentleman who parts out mavericks - So - which is correct? Thanks!

    The Factory ones had a black plastic (or bakelite) lever...here is a picture of one:

    Yep....Roger posted the picture of it.

    As a side note: It seems that 80% of the switches I have seen out there, if not more, are missing the black knob.

    If you need a replacement knob and want the exact factory style, check the Cougar parts places, as the 67-68 used the same ones and they always broke too. About $20 for a set of 4.
