Q - My 71 Grabber is missing the knob off of the sport lamp switch, I have looked at a few other grabbers and so far the original ones I have seen have a chrome knob held on by a set screw. The one that was on my car was also chrome and looked like a quality metal knob. I have been told that it is a black plastic knob by a gentleman who parts out mavericks - So - which is correct? Thanks!
Yep....Roger posted the picture of it. As a side note: It seems that 80% of the switches I have seen out there, if not more, are missing the black knob.
any auto parts store... ...from Maconga, U.S.A....:Handshake I see you're not new, just first post. Frank, Effie and Patches...
If you need a replacement knob and want the exact factory style, check the Cougar parts places, as the 67-68 used the same ones and they always broke too. About $20 for a set of 4.
Eric....I can't seem to see it in your post: I posted the picture above. I can see it in my "preview".....but it doesn't show up in the thread. Hmmmmm. Edit.....now it is showing up.
Funny, look one minute and it shows up and the next time it is a red X ........... Oh well - if anyones needs these, Cougar parts dealers have them.
