Is there a diffrerence in the VIN Code in 1970 for a Grabber vs a Standard 2 door Coupe ? Came across what I thought was a 1970 Grabber but the VIN on the dash plate is #91 . Has rear spoiler and original paint with Grabber markings. Can it be a Grabber with this code # ?

1970 Grabbers did not have their own vin designation. Pretty much the blacked out standard grill (no lights) and taillight panel (the taillight bezels are not blacked out, however), stripes on the side with no "Grabber" name in them, a standard hood with stripes down the middle, sport mirrors, and the rear spoiler are all that tell you it's a 70 Grabber. I think a Marti report may confirm if it is a true 70 Grabber, but not positive on this one as I have not had one done on my car yet. Maybe Craig can offer more things to look for.

That`s good info - thanks . Everything you listed is consistant with this car so I guess it is a factory Grabber. I knew they didn`t have the special Grabber Hood , but the lack of sports lamps in the grill and no Grabber name in the side stripes threw me off.

Corbin pretty much has it covered.
