Granada brakes will work; that's what a lot of folks use in lieu of aftermarket setups.

The Granada disc brakes are the same as the Maverick Disc brakes. Put 'em on.

Any early Granada or Monarch will work - The later Granada had the strut front suspension and those brakes are different

My first conversion back in the late 80's was Granada. 74-75 Maverick manual disc brake master cyl will work and a lot of supply houses still carry them. You might have to order it though

Get an adjustable pushrod, or get a pushrod from a '70-'73 drum-brake master cylinder.
Don't forget to replace the retainer clip.

Well, you have to use the proper technique. To get the old rod out, you'll have to take the M/C out of the car and mount it in a vice. Using a pickle-fork or a large adjustable ("Crescent") wrench and a hammer, knock out the old rod, which will break the clip holding it in. The replacement rod with a new clip will pop right in and snap into place.

when you shorten the rod does it effect the brake light switch
