Has any one ever been to the "Grand Fall Rod Run" in Pigeon Forge TN? My wife and I stumbled across it two years ago when we where visiting our youngest son who lives in the area. I had the maverick but it was not running yet and we had the Harley's with us. If i had to guess i would say there where several thousand street rod,s and classic cars there. This year we are driving the maverick down to attend the rod run and i was wondering if there is a mini meet already set up or if some people in the aria want to meet up with us. It,s not till August,so we have plenty of time to plan.:thumbs2:

I've been going for over 20 years, takes me about an hour to get there, there are 2 rod runs. Spring and Fall, 3rd week in April and Sept.

Last sept saw several mavericks. We usually get a cabin and stay the weekend for the fall run.

Pigeon Forge has several different runs and shows a year..... I was at the Grand Spring Rod Run last year(they do a spring and a fall every year), we liked it so much I already have a cabin reserved to be there for the spring this year..... There was a huge turn out last year, cars everywhere.....

I've been going since I was a kid. Watching the cars cruise is better than the show.:thumbs2:

This would be AWESOME!!! We go up there every spring and fall to the Grand Run! I would love to see everyone! I'm up for a mini meet also! I might even trailer the BearCat up! ;) Be too afraid to drive it that far.

I live about an hour away and go every year to the spring and fall rod runs. I some times go to the other shows. With a bad knee it's getting harder to walk. I guess I will just have to go and park and watch the cars drive by.

That works, Big Dog! Maybe we can meet up with anyone going from Georgia and all ride up together? My Mother lives right off 411 highway right above Fairmount and we could meet somewhere around that area if fesible. Can't wait! Already told the hubby that I know which car we're taking in the fall! lol
