Wouldn't the same adapter for a 70-73 Mustang work. I thought I had read that some where here. Have you tried searching the forum yet?

If there is a number on the adapter I can look at the one that was on my car and tell ya what it is. Might even be the same as an early Falcon, Rustang.

I am pretty sure that it is the same adapter for most Fords from the late 60s through the 70s. Once you get to the Fox body cars, I believe that changed.

They can be a bit tricky to get the horn right. Once you press the horn button on, give it about an 1/8" turn to keep it locked in place.

I know what you mean ... I have had the "lapfull of sparks" thing happen to me too.

Another favorite of mine with these is when you install the horn adapter a little off-center. The horn honks everytime you hit the same spot turning the wheel... three wheel spins in a turn ... "honk...honk...honk".
