Well I had an AWSOME time at the drags thid weekend. I didn't winn any of the $8000 dollar pay out but I did take the ol mav to the top 16 out of 80 sum cars and I cut the best light that I have ever done ( .002 ) that beats my best of .024. It was very hot but the ol mav ran 12.91 all day long. It felt great to finally go a few rounds and cut some good lights after missing the first half of the season because of my neck surgury. Oh by the way my team mates took home $1500 of that $8000 purse and moved from 7th to first in the point standings. All in all not a bad weekend.:burnout:

the mav is streetlegal with all the interior still intact, I don't drive it because the tabs are expired and I trailer it to the track ( I have too many cars and cant keep up with all the tabs ). I do not know the hp she has but she ran the best of 12.67 a couple of weeks ago when it was cooler outside, however I believe she has a little more umph left to find. I believe that the air cleaner in a HUGE restriction with the solid top and the shaker hood, need to change to aircleaner top to a flow through k&n unit to straighten the air flow path to the carb.
