Grill paint

I'm looking for a satin silver paint to paint the grill on the church van. Any body got any suggestions on a brand that won't fade like the cheapo chrome in a can or aluminum paint. It is a plastic grill like on a Mav, so if it worked on a Mav, it should work on the old Dodge.

 

I would suggest Eastwood.....but I don't know if they make a plastic paint in that color.

 

I've used Krylon Fusion for plastics and it seems to work pretty well....This is what i plan on using on my mavs grill

 

I checked Eastwood, didn't see anything like what I was thinking about...

 

I like the rattle can silver "wheel" paint like you get at the auto zone or advance.

 

Get a can of argent silver wheel paint.Buy a can of "Plasticoat" (its the brand name)sandable automotive primer(Grey) it wont eat plastic and allmost any automotive paint will stick to it just fine.I have been useing it to prime plastic models for years with primo results.I use it on cars too in a pinch,it works well.

 

I used Rustoleum semi gloss black on my grill. Worked great. I'm sure they have a silver.
