Anyone have any info on ground effects/air dams from other cars that are a close fit on a 77 Mav? How about grill inserts or Mustang parts? I'm wanting to see if it is feasible to make this car over to an "Elanor" type car and my body guy says it would be a lot easier if I had something close that could be molded in.
    Thanks!

I think pretty much everything you are seeking will have to be fabricated. Ground effects for Mavericks don't exist, and I know some companies make front spoilers for the Mavs, but I don't think they fit 77s. You can get cowl hoods for Mavericks also. If you want to see if Mustang parts are close, you pretty much have to get a hold of some, and see how close they are. Then you have to decide how much modifying you can/are comfortable doing. Good Luck.

Thanks for the info! That's kinda what I thought. Well, back to the drawing board!

For my 1971 Comet, the 1970 Mach1 front spoiler fits great! A fellow Ford enthusiastist, David Poteat, has one on his Boss Maverick in Salisbury, NC.

    Interesting...

Do you have pictures of this Mach1-on-your-71 setup?

If you look back a couple months in mustang and fords you will see a picture of Chris and Marcy Stouts car (radmav&Grabbear) it is a 77 mav he used the lower gravel pan off of an earlier mav while retaining the big bumpers by doing that it gave him a mounting place for his lower spoiler......I hope this helps??
