Found this board late last week while looking for a project car. Lots of good information and some really outstanding cars!!! Having been through my share of Mustangs and Fairmont Futura's, I'm wanting to build a Maverick for a heads-up, normally aspirated class in an all-Ford racing series. I've seen a few on here and I'm trying to get one of them (there's one in Oklahoma right now and I'm trying to get him not to part it out!!!) so I can get this thing going. Thanks for a great site and I hope to keep everyone informed on the car I find and it's progress.
Welcome to the board. The Maverick is a great car and can be turned into a real head turner with very little work. They attract attention wherever they go. You will be happy if you build one so I say Go For It!!!

i've run the fun ford weekend at phoenix for the last 2 years. last november i won the gallop for the gold on saturday and we split the money for quick ford when it ended early because of weather and oil downs. fun time.
I was at the FFW race at Firedbird running Fast Ford in my Mustang. Were you running the orange Maverick that lifted the wheels? here's my Mustang - the yellow one
