I am going to try and go to Bowling Green next week to race, so I thought I should get the car ready, since it has not been out of the garage since the Round-up.....fired it up and heard and slight rattle, starting looking and it was coming from around the oil pan did a little searching and discovered one of the convertor bolts had come loose Anyay, hope to get out and play next Sunday
Bet that did make a little shake, rattle and roll......glad everything is ok John, Good luck next weekend!!
Glad you found the problem John but, NOT OUT OF THE GARAGE SINCE ROUND-UP?!?!? All work and no play makes little Johnny a dull boy Don't make me come up there Seriously though....I havn't seen a pic of the Mavs in their new stable? Keep us posted on next weekend.
Damn............I took mine out last night for the first time after the Roundup and had a major rattle too. Mine turned out to be the exhaust rattling against the seat belt bolt ends. I just took the bolts out & wacked of 1/2". Glad you got yours fixed! Weird stuff!!!!!
gremlins are at work,, I had a guy point out that I had a header bolt about to fall out. He even brought me a wrench and showed me it. Never saw that guy before in my life. He said he was looking at the car and noticed it, went back to his car and got a wrench and handed it too me. What a great guy!!! Dan
I hate it that it has not been out in so long, work is busy and when I do have free time I want to spent it with the wife and kids. Making a "appointment" to race is about the only way for me right now....so many things to do and so little time.
well all I can say is thank goodness for my Ninja buddy A couple guys ask me if Beechbend ran motorcycles, so I checked my race flyer and realized I had scheduled my dates wrong and they were holding a 3 day race there....so I did not go, gonna try again this Sunday
That would of been good John, show up at a bike race with a car!!! Isnt that one of those "you might be a redneck it......" I see the Valley and the OSCA are finally having a 7.50 class.....since I moved out here. Todd
