    funny thing don, i've tried all kinds of things to tame it down chains,bars etc. none of it was worth a flip!!this car likes thinks it's a super stocker!!! if i took the wheelie bars it would really tote em!!!!how's your ride doing?

    347 victor jr heads 40 over 12.5 to 1 compression(flat tops) parker funnelweb intake 750 aed carb with #1 stop throttle stop(when i race super class)
    probe track dominator lower stud girdle probe oil pan(only thing that will fit around girdle)
    comp cams 677 lift roller comp pro mag rockers and girdle msd 7al2 w pro power coil. precision perf air shifter with mega 450 delay box
    dynamic mitey mite c-4 with pro brake/cameron 8" converter 5300 stall ford 9 with moser center section 35 spline axles 5.43 rear gear(set for 1/8th mile)
    ladder bar car running mickey's 29.5 x11.5 launch rpm 3800 shifting at 6800 could go higher but why kill it early .i try to make set-ups that will last the whole season of race thrashin.this was not the origional block that came with car i cross ref numbers it was a 78 block so it came out of another ford. it has done well and has held up to 5 hard race seasons(prob cuz i've never hit with nos!!
    times 6.80's 1/8th prob 10.60's 1/4 will try a 1/4 mile soon to see is i can make with the 5.43 if not i have a 5.14 that i will try

    favorite racing :ihra hotrod class i race in div 2. throttle stop racing with pro tree is some of the hardest racing out there. brackets are ok but index racing is way harder!!!now if i can get some peeps to take video pix of me instead of drinking beer all day!!!:drink:

    Nice launch!! The 514 still may be a little to low for the 1/4 you might run out of gear before you reach the traps. Good luck!
