I was just wondering if anybody has seen or even tried this with the Maverick (or Comet) emblems?? I saw this car on one of the older Muscle Car episodes from Spike TV's "Power Block".

I think it makes the car look sleek and clean, without losing or completely shaving them off. The Maverick emblem would require a lot of patience to do, but it certainly would make waxing the car a little easier!:D

BTW, I'm really not a fan of taking an original GT-350 out of a museum and doing this to it, but hey, whatever floats your boat...

As good as some of these artists are, the thing to do is have the emblem airbrushed on then bury under clear.

I don't think it looks different enough to go through all that work.

I saw a 61 Buick at the show last week. The second time I walkked around I realized the prtholes on the fender were airbrushed on. Looked really great.:)
