This question was posed by jmgford in a previous thread. I bought a carpet from lynn at new england mustang. Am I going to have a difficult time getting it to fit because of a smaller transmission tunnel?
This is the replay I received from New England Mustang: "70-77 are all the same mold. We don't show any thing different for your year, sorry."
If I'm not mistaken, Earl Branham cut a wedge out his carpet and sewed it back to fit the hump in his 69 1/2.
The ACC carpet I put in my 70 fit perfectly. The only place I had to trim is at the front edge of the rear side panels. Didn't really remove any material, just had to cut a slit so that part could fold under the rocker trim and the rest tuck behind the side panel.
That sounds encouraging. I was concerned about the tunnel fit. Most of the ACC stuff I have gotten for other Fords in the past has fit very well.
