Looking for some suggestions... My sport mirrors are cloudy, especially the driver side. They seem to have permanent water spots on them and just a general haze. They look dirty no matter what I do.

I was on the verge of buying some of that peel-and-stick mirror material and just covering it up, but I'm hesitant to do that.

So, first question, does anybody know of a miracle cure for a hazy mirror? Can it be polished without too much trouble? Is there some awesome cleaning agent I've not yet discovered?

Second question, does anybody have any experience with the aforementioned peel-and-stick Wal-Mart mirror repair material? Does it suck?

    Thanks!

I used the BAR on my windows, mirrors and chrome and it really cuts through the haze and glaze and oxydation for me :)

You can buy replacement mirror glass. They are marketed by Dorman. You can order them from the parts store that carries Dorman or buy from www.rockauto.com

Is it the glass, or is the silver coming off ?? I used some polishing compound on mine.

    Interesting. Clay bar, you mean?

It's the glass. What kind of compound did you use?

    Thanks!
