When I took the 302 out of the 74 Mav, the left side header was modified (beat to hell) to accommodate the power steering assembly. Question, is there a header that one can use where modification would not be necessary? Or should I pursue stock exhaust manifolds? is anything easy?
There's a drop down bracket that is required when using long tubes on a PS equipped car. by left do you mean drivers side or passenger side? The bracket goes on the drivers side.
I see, well here's how it looks like when installed(it will only have the left side portion of the bracket): http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m208/junco927/10-27-07_2155.jpg This is what a stock bracket looks like: http://www.allfordmustangs.com/foru...-bracket-installation-1966-mustang-102210.jpg Those pictures are from a mustang, but they pretty much look like our cars.
yep, stock bracket is what I have. however, yours seems to be mounted higher on the frame. I'll take a look when I get it out of the trailer. Thanks for the help. Mark
Maverick 75, what headers you have installed on yours? Looks like there is a lot of clearance from the power steering arm assy.
