    1) was the only difference on a grabber that they were black around the lights?

    2) how rare/expensive are decent ones?

If 1 is true, can i just paint the inside of a non grabber set?

mine are not too bad, but one of them might be in bad enough shape to consider replacing.

    thanks

Black grille cars used a semi-gloss black painted bezel and the rest were argent colored. They are easy to paint. Real black ones in excellent shape sell for a lot on ebay. But you can find decent argent ones reasonable and paint them yourself.

The only other difference with bezels are the location of the adjustment screws. That happened in 1975 and later cars.

    :)
