headlights wont work?

got in my 70 mav tonight and the head lights wouldn't come on ,tail lights works ,front parking lights work and dash and interior lights also working but both head lights aren't shining,has the switch went bad??

 

That is what mine did when the headlight switch died.

 

Check for power on yellow & red wire at dimmer switch, if there is none it's likely the headlight sw or maybe problem with that wire... If there is power, check the dimmer switch...

 

I had a bad dimmer switch that did that...like it was stuck between low/high beam...

 

problem found it was a ground wire behind the grill

Guess I should of mentioned if high beam indicator lights, problem is in wiring to bulkhead connector or under hood...
