Has anyone tried to build Hedders useing Hed-11300 Flanges with 1 3/4 stubs?
Could you not copy from the 1 5/8 Hedman, they seem to fit well?

I have an idea that has floated through my little brain occaisionally...

Take a set of those 1.625" headers and cut off all of the pipe except the first 8-12".
Then use the pipe you have cut off as a template for some 1.75" pipe.
Now piece it all back together with some nice tuned collectors.
You would end up with possibly the only set of 'torque step' style headers on a Mav.

Just a thought. Depends on your take on stepped headers I suppose.

Btw: If I personally ever build a set of headers, they will be individual tubes with slip on collectors. Much easier to install than 4 tubes solid as one piece.

I was thinking the same way and wondering if anyone has tried it yet?
