Hey eveyone. i am a new mavrick owner and already got my self in trouble. my heater didnt work so I disessembled the switch well i cut what i thought was going to we wires, but it turned out to be vacum lines now im not shure what to do i was going to put toggles switches to controll the a/c and heater but im not shure what goes were if somone could give me some advice i would appreciate it thnx handynate
bummer on your "wire" selection. My advice is to get the manual, read up on the controls, and try it again. It's really the only way now. I'm sure you'll get someone to chime in later that may be of more help.
You can run individual lines to each motor. However, Most factory ac systems use a switch that is prone to breaking over the years. If your system only blew air out the defroster vents, chances are you need to find another switch.

Welcome aboard! :Handshake 71gold is right. It will be easy to fix the hoses you cut with vacuum hose connectors from the local parts house. Then you can concentrate back on the problem. Good luck with it.
