I posted this question before but after my decal arrived from osborns today it was not the right one.. i have a 170 stright six in my 1972 mav . on the valve cover there was a orange decal on the spark plug side of the valve cover .does anyone know what the sticker said or with one it is .. the one i order was for the emissions for a 1970 motor (170)cid but then i got it today it was alot smaller and black and white not orange. the one that was on the valve cover was pretty big and had alot of fine print on it ... please help
That sticker you need would have had all the "tune-up" info on it....like ignition timing, idle settings, etc. Not sure if anybody repops it. Check with the Maverick Connection....they would know for sure.
