Hi everyone, yes I am new to this but am glad I am here. I am looking for ideas to restore my 1972 Ford Maveric. I am very excited about the restoration because I have so many ideas but am unsure wear to start. Any help would be totaly greatful because I am new when it comes to restoration of a vehicle anyway.
    Thanks,
    sheilalela

    Howdy and :Welcome:

First thing is to get the car mechanically sound. If your car is 4 lug, converting to 5 lug with disc brakes is a good place to start. Even if it is already 5 lug, convert to frony disc. Next is the front end. Make sure all worn bushings are replaced and a proper alignment can be obtained. Then its time to decide what you want. Do you want a nice econo crusier or a powerful street ripper? Or maybe in between. Your only limitations are your imagination and your bank acount.

    Welcome to the board.
Only suggestion I have is this:
Its a lot easier to restore a car that you do not have to drive daily....hopefully that is your situation. Other than that, look around and ask questions....its probably been done here before.
