Hello to all my fellow FORD [ and MERCURY ] lovers ! I own a 84 F-150 4wd stepside 351w auto, a 93 Explorer Eddie Bauer 4wd [wifes car], a 74 Comet 2door which I just bought for a project,an 81 T- bird donor car for my project,[302 c-4], and a 48 FORD Super Deluxe Coupe that needs total restoration and a new owner as well. Anybody interested in the 48 can contact me at ford84stepside@aol.com. My Comet is an original v-8 car, ps, no air, however I have got the disc brake setup off of a 77 Granada ready to install along with the complete ps steering setup off of the same car. Plans call for plucking gut and feathers out of the old T-Bird and putting same into the Comet. I am also looking at installing the seats out of a Mazda 323, I measured them and the fronts look just right, the rear is about 2 inches longer in the cushion area and the backrest is about 2 inches narrower. I will let ya'll know how it works out.
    Just remember,strip'em before you crush'em if you can't fix'em!!!!!:smash:

Heres a pic of the 48. It is for sale $1000. Most of it is there but is not running. Would make a killer street rod. Cat not included.

Yeah thats a grabber hood on my Comet. I need a Maverick grill to match the hoodline, either a stock style with the park lights or maybe a tube style aftermarket piece would do the trick. Anybody know of a supplier for reproduction stock grills or custom style units that won't cost my firstborn and a arm and a leg ? How about anybody with a used stock or N.O.S. grill they are willing to part with for a reasonable price ? I know I can get a Comet 'glass hood from U.S. Body for $300, and they also have the GT style scoops, I may go this route at a later date if I can't find a grill.:bananaman
