I owned a 72 Comet GT from 1972 to 1976. It was my first car and one of my favorites. It was bright red with a black vinyl interior. I installed a console from a 69 Mustang, much improved the interior.
From time to time I look on ebay to see if any Comet GT's are still out there.
I found this website by accident while looking for Ford F-150 sites.
The VIN of my Comet GT was 2K31F524260. If anyone knows its where abouts I would like to know.

    :Welcome:

If you know any Police Officers, they can run the VIN and see if it is currently registered to someone or see when and to who it was last registered. Thats how I found out where my dad's old '71 Comet GT is now.

Welcome to the board. I am still in the gathering stages of the Comet GT registry.
Your VIN is not listed as of now-no big surprise with less than 20 full registrations.

    Good luck finding it.
If you have any old pics-we particularly like vintage pics.

I have a few Polaroid pictures of the car. Don't know how to get them on the computer.

You would have to scan them in order to post them.
Do you have a scanner? Places like Kinkos or other
copy centers can assist you as well.
