I picked this up from grandmother's friend just this last summer. He bought it in 1992 in Nevada specifically near Needles where he was living at the time. And it was his daily driver for many years. Till he picked up and fully restored a 1974 bug. In the early 2000s he moved to Denver and it started to fall apart in the harshness of the Colorado winter and lack of care. I still have the plates from Nevada for it hanging in my garage. It still runs, I occasionally drive it to work. The radio works even. Although its only AM. Me and dad rebuilt the carb a few weeks ago. And now it runs amazing. It definitely needs some rear qtr panel work.
Welcome to the site from northeast Ohio!!!! Love the cloth patch panels. Looks like the springs may be a little sagged out. With the right set of wheels it would probably be the perfect ride height!
Luxury Decor Option car. (LDO). Before you invest in quarter panels....I would look underneath and see what the frame and torque boxes look like.
