Hi, my name is Shawn and I just picked up a '75 2 dr. with 52,000 original miles for my son and I to restore. It's about 95% rust free, with a little rust behind the front wheels. I'm a cough, cough Mopar guy, but couldn't pass this car up. I look forward to learning as much as possible about these little cars, and hoping I can learn some things towards restoring this vehicle back to a sweet ride!
Welcome from Panama City, Florida..... no worries about being a Mopar guy, I know lots of them that I can out run!!
beerchug: Well Mr. Mopar, there are some pretty sharp hombres on this site who may change your critical thinking...
Welcome aboard from a fellow Hoosier. Where in Indiana are you located? Since you are new, I would like to take this opportunity to personally invite you to a nearby event. The Maverick Comet Club International, Inc. (MCCI) will be holding their 19th Annual Roundup Nationals in Dearborn, Michigan next July 24-29. You will see lots and lots of Mavericks and Comets. You will have to plan and attend. More details can be found at www.MaverickCometClub.org I also host an MCCI Indiana Mini-Meet every summer, so watch for that.
Welcome from Lafayette. While born and raised a Ford guy I've always liked Road Runners and we are the original owners of a '79 Trans Am. Bruce
Hi friend indiana here also, I'm a old mopar man also. Had 3 roadrunners and several darts in the past, also a chevy man still, not a ford man as much as just a maverick man.....you will love the site
