Welcome. Looks like a great car. I thought all the Mexican Mavericks had small bumpers. Did you add the Stallion badges? Are the stripes also added on or factory? What does it say on the quarter panel? Geeeezzz, usually the new guys ask all the questions.

The Stallion badges i make them, y remake the image to lines with my computer, y have the .eps if anyone want to make stallions decalls in vinyl.

The stripes was put there by the first owner (they look like the comet GT version), I want to put them of and make my own stripes.

In the end of the stripe say: Maverick GT.

the only modification are, new interiors, chromed part in the motor, holley 2 barrel carb, chromed filter for the carb too, and the exhaust divided out in two and put a trush in each.

Sorry for my bad english, and bad explanations. :)

    Have fun.
    by happy.
    keep walking...

Welcome to the board. Great looking Maverick.(y) Is there a decal on the front of the hood? If so, what does it say? Also, is that a US made Maverick that was shipped to Mexico or was it made there? I too always thought the southeren made Mavericks had small bumpers. Either way, it's a great looking car.:)

    Hi Gaucho,

That's a very nice car you have there. Welcome aboard. As a member from the north of the U.S., I assure you that you will be made to feel right at home here.
By the way, have you ever seen one of these before? http://www.maverick.to/shelby.html
There has been a long standing curiosity among the members here about the Shelby Mavericks that were made by Shelby de Mexico. Are you located somewhere where you might be able to find out more information about these cars? Perhaps a Mexican Shelby Mustang club would be able to help? I tried to contact such a club once, but received no response. Anyway, if you find more information on this subject, we'd love to hear about it.
Once again, welcome here. John B.

In front of the hood say:
    Maverick.
and i put the Apple Macintosh logo with flames.

My car was made in mexico. i think the motor was made in USA but the car was made in mexico.

I live in The north of mexico, in the border with El Paso, Texas. Here i dont have information about the shelby maverick. ( and i dont see any one. :( )

if i can i post any information i found.

    Hola, Gaucho!
    I like your car.
Dennis, all the Brazillian cars had small bumpers.

I rode in a Maverick Taxi in Cancun once!!!
