I guess it's true, there's a club for every car online. I've been aware of the forums for a while, and occasionally peeked in to make sure the community still existed. My project has been sitting a while because "life happens" and it will be a few more years before I can start on, but never too early to start collecting information, right? Short version of the car's history: My first car was/is a 76Maverick and I managed to hold on to it with some help from family. When I went off to college, I left the car with my sister rather than exposing it to road salt. When I got the car back, it did not run. It's been parked in the backyard since 94. My recollection of the specific problem may not be 100% anymore. At this point I have no idea how much longer the car will be sitting, but I'm glad to be part of a place where people appreciate these old cars.
Welcome From Idaho . You might want to add your State and City to your member name. This makes it easier for everyone if you buy, sell parts or if someone is close enough to you to lend a hand.
I could post cellphone picture, but there's not much to see. Just a sad looking car waiting for its caretaker to have the money available to start buying parts. At least I have my restomod plans solidified.
I found some pictures from 1991, shortly before handing the car over to my sister. Here's the best one. The camera was a 35mm point-and-shoot.
Not a bad looking car at all! Hopefully there is enough left when you get to tear into it! Thanks for sharing the picture. Always neat to see them in their natural habitat!!
