Just like to say hello. My name is Joe Grocki i live in Scranton,PA. I just got
a 1972 4dr. 250 auto. no powder steering or brakes, it is powder blue with
a blue like new interior. The only extras are a rear view mirror and a ashtray.
Oh the car only has 40562 miles it was a 88 year old school teachers car. I
got it at her estate sale for 600.00. The only thing i did so far is a tune up.
It runs good and stops great. I just started to get some parts which i have
some questions i will post on the tech. forum. thank you Joe.

Howdy and welcome. You should consider bringing you and your car down to Carlisle for the all Ford show. Its June 4, 5, and 6. If not the whole show, at least Saturday.

Welcome Joe, and be sure to post pics of your car when you can. As said, this is the best place to come for Mav/Comet info.

Welcome Joe. Like the others have said, you have come to the right place for anything Maverick related. I see you are from Scranton. I live just down the turnpike in Palmerton. We are almost neighbors. There is a big car show in Scranton on July 18th at Marywood University. My husband and I go there every year with our 77' Maverick. Maybe we can meet there and swap Maverick tales.:) Or like Mavaholic said, take a trip out to Carlisle in a few weeks and meet a whole bunch of us. It's worth the trip. Anything you need to know, just ask. Oh, and post pictures if you have any.
