I have found all the suspension parts for my '73 with the exception of the center link and the pitman arm. It's a 302 with power steering. Anybody have a source to suggest or crossover parts that will work from a different car? Thank you!
The best bet is to go to an auto wreckers, post in the wanted section im sure someone has some extras as far as the pitman arm goes theres an autowreckers about 5 min from my house and i know for sure it has a mav with a power steering pitman arm on it because i was going to grab it for someone else before. if you want it i will grab it for the cost of the item plus shipping. Ps the late 60s mustang powersteering parts are almost all interchangeable so any mustang parts house should have it.
Your center link and pitman arm are probably the only two parts on your steering that are not worn out. Based on your other posts, I am assuming you are still replacing all of the power steering components on your car and staying with power steering. (Not to say I didn't miss a post... ) I believe Jegs and Summit say 'call for your application' on Moog centerlinks, but I really doubt they actually can get them.
Yes, I have access to a few parts cars but I'm looking for new or reman parts. Mine aren't terribly bad yet, I'm just rebuilding the whole front end and used parts wouldn't be an improvement over what I have now. Thanks for the lead on late Mustangs!
