Just took off the gas tank and a need some info.

    1) There are apparently two lines out of the tank, one on the top and one to the side. Is one of those a vent? If so, it appears to go all the way to the front as well as the other.

    2) Will need a new sending unit on the side. Suppliers??

    3) There is a rubber doughnut inside of the tank where the filler neck goes in. Mine is shot to hell. Are replacements available? Also, I notice the filler neck goes directly into the tank. What a screwy design! Any tips on re-installation
    would greatly be appreciated.

The line on the top of the tank is the vent and it goes up front to the charcoal canister. The line on the side is your supply and goes to the fuel pump.

I see sending units all the time on Ebay.

Check out www.autokrafters.com for the rubber donut, I think they're available as a repop now, but don't quote me. I don't know what you mean about tips for re-installing the filler neck, as it should just go right back in the way you took it out, no big deal.
